ICCIMA holds meeting on industrial development strategy

TEHRAN – Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) held the fist meeting of the Industrial development strategy on Wednesday with experts and scholars from various industrial sectors in attendance.

As reported by the ICCIMA portal, investigating industrial policies in Iran, and discussing past experiences and future requirements were the main focus of the mentioned meeting.

In this meeting, the heads of the ICCIMA Industry and Information and Communication Technology Committees were also present.

Speaking at the gathering, Hojjat Mirzaei, head of the ICCIMA Research Center, said that Article 48 of the seventh National Development Plan emphasizes the formulation of new industrial development strategies with the participation of the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade and the private sector.
