A medical source told Al Jazeera that Israel has slaughtered 1,250 Palestinians in northern Gaza since the start of the offensive on October 5.

Israel has laid siege to northern Gaza obstructing the delivery of fuel, food and medicine.

It has also issued forced evacuation orders for Palestinians in northern Gaza while its troops have opened fire on people who flee the area.

The regime’s army has battered the towns of Jabaliya, Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya.
On Wednesday morning, the Municipality of Beit Lahiya declared a state of disaster in the town.

“We declare that the city is a disaster area due to the Israeli war of extermination and siege, and it has no food, water, hospitals, doctors, services, or communications,” it said.

The municipality called on the international community and organizations to pressure Israel to stop its attacks and allow entry of humanitarian aid, fuel, civil defense equipment, and vehicles to help open the roads and remove rubble.
An Israeli airstrike on a building in Beit Lahiya killed more than 100 Palestinians on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the Palestine Red Crescent Society in Gaza has called the situation in northern Gaza “catastrophic”.
Oxfam has said it is unable to reach people in the north, accusing Israel of using starvation as a weapon.

Sam Rose, senior Gaza deputy director of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, called conditions in northern Gaza “absolutely desperate”
Israel has killed nearly 43,200 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since declaring war on the territory in October last year. More than 101,000 others have also been injured.
