Democrats and Republicans are united in their hostility to Iran

TEHRAN - In an analysis, Kayhan discussed the unity among the two major political parties in the United States in their enmity with Iran.

Democrats and Republicans are united in their hostility to Iran

It said: Republicans and Democrats, with all the small and big differences on various issues, when it comes to the issue of national and big interests in the enmity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, they put aside all the differences and get united. These two American parties have different tactics but common strategies when dealing with Iran. This is the reason why Democrats and Republicans are always competing with each other in economic sanctions against Iran and sowing chaos and sedition in the country as well as assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists and military officials and all kinds of crimes. A comparison of the number of supporters and opponents of anti-Iran plans in the successive American legislative bodies (the Senate and the House of Representatives) shows that even if the Republicans and Democrats disagree on any issue, they do not have any differences of opinion regarding the hostility towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian nation. With a simple search on the Internet, you can find a lot of documents about "the current reality in America ??and the position of the U.S. administration vis-a-vis Iran".

Sobh-e-No: We are witnessing the decline of America

Foad Izadi, an expert on American affairs, tells Sobh-e-No that the United States is on the decline. He said: In the context of West Asia, especially regarding support for the Zionist regime and anti-Iran policies, there will not be much difference between Trump and the Democrats. Both sides have been strongly supporting the Zionist regime and pushing for anti-Iran policies over the past 45 years. But the decline of America has been talked about many times. Decline means the decline of America's influence in the world. There is abundant evidence showing that America is losing its power and influence in some parts of the world, especially in the Middle East and other regions. This decline can be due to economic crises, military failures, and wrong domestic and foreign policies. Many countries of the world are critical of America's policies, especially in the Middle East, and believe that this country has turned to military and violent solutions instead of using diplomatic and economic tools. This approach can lead to the reduction of the global prestige of the United States and ultimately to the decline of this country's power.

Farhikhtegan: Trump and Iran

In a note, Farhikhtegan discussed Trump's victory in the presidential election and his expected policies toward Tehran. It wrote: Trump finally won the election. He highlighted the wars in the Middle East and the Russian invasion of Ukraine to show the role of the Democrats in the global chaos. The important point is that everyone has focused on the losses of Trump's reemergence for Iran. But it seems that he also provides opportunities for Tehran. During the first term of his presidency, he inflicted blows on Iran in the form of sanctions and assassinations, but he provided an opportunity for Tehran to readjust its JCPOA obligations and increase the amount of nuclear enrichment with sufficient legitimacy. He left the White House while Iran was a non-nuclear country, but he returned to it as his efforts backfired and Tehran is a latent nuclear power today, and it can start producing nuclear weapons in a short time if it wishes.

Iran: It is necessary to adopt smart strategy during Trump era

In a commentary, the Iran newspaper discussed America’s foreign policy approach toward the Islamic Republic after Trump's victory. The paper said: Considering the possible composition of Trump's cabinet and the presence of radical figures in key positions, our country should use smart diplomacy to manage possible threats and pressures caused by his cabinet. This diplomacy should not only focus on increasing cooperation with allied countries in West Asia and other countries in the world, but also actively take action in international forums to counter the economic and military pressures of the United States. This requires more international coordination with global powers such as China, Russia, and even the European Union to prevent the negative consequences of Trump's possible actions and manage tension. By adopting a smart strategy, while focusing on strengthening national cohesion, the establishment and the government must manage domestic and international issues in such a way that, while reducing possible threats in areas of economy, defense, and security, it is also possible to make maximum use of the new opportunities created in the Trump era.
