Roudaki Hall to host “Johann Sebastian Bach Night”

TEHRAN-A classical concert will be held at the Roudaki Hall in Tehran on November 18 and 19, where 10 pieces by the famous German composer and musician Johann Sebastian Bach will be performed.

Titled “Johann Sebastian Bach Night,” the concert will be conducted by Sahar Anzali and performed by a string ensemble and choir, Honaronlie reported.

Farmehr Beyglou will serve as the concertmaster and Faraz Aghili will accompany the performance as the piano soloist.

Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) was a German composer and musician of the late Baroque period. He is known for his prolific output across a variety of instruments and forms, including orchestral music, solo instrumental works, keyboard works, organ works, and choral works. 

Since the 19th century Bach Revival, he has been generally regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of Western music. He is celebrated as the creator of many masterpieces of church and instrumental music.
