TEHRAN - The Iranian Judiciary chief says the judicial system will firmly deal with those instigating insecurity and conducting acts of terror and treason.

Instigators of insecurity and terrorists will face justice: Iranian top judge

“The Judiciary will decisively and without any leniency deal with elements involved in the recent sedition and those who carried out terrorist acts and were leading acts of crime, burning the holy Quran and setting fire to mosques. Of course, in this regard, we will never deviate from the path of justice and fairness and law,” said the top judge.

“We will not allow the enemy and its cronies to foment insecurity in the country and will serve as a bulwark against those inciting mental and physical insecurity,” he added.

Recently, the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran provoked riots in the country through their trained operatives and mercenaries. The armed rioters vandalized public property, triggered terror, and killed security forces as well as ordinary people by hijacking peaceful protests caused by illegal U.S. sanctions.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Judiciary chief touched upon the United States’ military and verbal threats against Iran, saying Iranians are not afraid of the enemy.

He said there is no end in sight to the enemy’s plots and there might be more machinations for aggression, sedition, riots, and terror, urging unity against the enemy.
