Chabahar Port’s container capacity to reach 100,000 TEUs
TEHRAN – According to a report by the Islamic republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL), Six cranes in Iran’s southeastern Chabahar Port have been equipped with container unloading and loading tools, so the container operation capacity of the port has reached 100,000 TEUs.
As reported, one of the mentioned cranes is already operational and the rest will start operating in the coming days, IRNA reported.
All the equipment and parts used in the mentioned cranes have been designed and assembled by Iranian engineers and experts.
