All bakeries shut in central Gaza due to supply shortages

All bakeries have shut down in central Gaza due to severe supply shortages, the World Food Programme (WFP) warns in a post on X, Al Jazeera said.

“Bread is a lifeline for many families – often the only food they can access. Now, even that is slipping out of reach,” the UN agency said, urging vital aid to enter the besieged enclave.
