Iran fail to advance to CAVA Women's Nations Volleyball League final
TEHRAN – Iran lost to Nepal 3-0 (25-21, 28-26, 25-20) in the CAVA Women's Nations League Volleyball semifinals on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, India earned their place in the final by defeating Sri Lanka in the first semi-final.
The highly anticipated final match between Nepal and India will take place on Wednesday.
Iran will also meet Sri Lanka in the bronze medal match.
The competition kicked off at the National Sports Council in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Aug. 1 and will run until Aug. 9.
