TEHRAN- The Head of Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) announced the organization’s plan to activate the country’s idle port capacities, develop maritime diplomacy, and use the capacities of the embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand maritime trade and transport.
TEHRAN- The CEO of the Ports and Maritime Organization announced a more than 90% growth in the unloading of essential goods at northern ports and, referring to port and customs operations becoming 24-hour, reported a significant reduction in the unloading time of vessels and cargo dwell time at port terminals and the country’s transit borders.
TEHRAN- Iran’s experience in implementing and operating the Maritime Single Window (MSW) and the capabilities of the Integrated Maritime Management System (IMAS) were presented at the specialized and technical regional meeting of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in Georgia, drawing the attention of the organization’s experts and representatives of regional countries.
