TEHRAN - Iran’s ambassador to the United Kingdom has criticized Britain’s silence in the face of U.S. and Israeli military aggression against Iran, urging London to adopt a position consistent with international law and to explicitly condemn the attacks.

Referring to the UK’s involvement in recent U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran, Ali Mousavi stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to respond to the aggressors.

Mousavi added that the international public expects the United Kingdom—consistent with its self-image as a “civilized nation”—to take a stand by condemning U.S. and Israeli military aggression and the clear violations of international humanitarian law, particularly the killing of Iranian children and civilians.

British officials did not condemn the U.S.-Israeli that was imposed against Iran in June of 2025 either. Iranians accuse European governments of lacking agency and parroting U.S. polices.
