Over 1,000 people martyred by Wednesday
TEHRAN - The Foundation for Martyrs and Veterans announced on Wednesday that 1,045 people have been so far killed during the U.S.-Israeli terrorist attacks that started on Saturday.
The announcement added that 787 people had been martyred by Tuesday, IRNA reported.
Civilians, women and children, and military commanders accounted for a majority of the martyrs.
Some 185 students and teachers have also been martyred and around 20 schools have been destructed over the past days, the Ministry of Education reported.
