TEHRAN- The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance announced its key measures and activities in the areas of banks, insurance, the stock exchange, and customs in order to provide more and better services to the dear people.

According to IRNA's report from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, it announced: “In the area of banking activities, based on the announcement of the Coordination Council of Banks, services will be provided by 30% of the country's bank branches, the names of which are listed on the informational websites of each bank. Banks must be open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM with the necessary staff, along with technical and support units, to provide services for customers' essential needs.
In the insurance sector, services have been provided without interruption since the beginning of the aggression. According to the circular from the Central Insurance, it has been declared permissible for insurance companies to provide coverage for damages caused by war under policies for residential fire, industrial and non-industrial fire, automobile hull, supplementary health, and the liability of domestic transport operators.
In the capital market sector, activities were initially announced until March 6th and then extended for the next two weeks, with an emphasis on the continued supply of various goods.
In the area of customs clearance and supply of goods, activities have included the continuation of services to economic operators, the rapid clearance of essential goods, the clearance of over 50,000 tons of essential goods in the last 24 hours, and the extension of the resolution allowing for the 90% clearance of goods.”
