This initiative is a patriotic duty in response to the aggressive conditions imposed on the beloved homeland by the U.S. and Israel, Mehr reported.

The Center has announced its full support for compelling, professional, and high-quality works that effectively strengthen the nation's spirit of unity, courage, and faith, the report added.

Support will be provided for projects with the capacity for rapid production, as well as for already completed works, through acquisition or commissioning.

Artists and studios can participate through two distinct methods. The first is through direct support for production, in which all creative studios and artists active in the country's animation industry are invited to submit a comprehensive project details—including concept, script, character and environment designs, and budget—along with their portfolios. Submissions must be uploaded to the Center's website as soon as possible, and approved projects will proceed to a production contract.

The second avenue is through support for the submission of completed works, allowing studios and artists with professionally produced animations that fit the specified themes to upload their finished products, along with their professional resumes, in the designated section of the website. Preference will be given to licensed studios and artists with a proven production background.

According to the call for entries, projects will be evaluated based on their narrative themes, execution format, production framework, technique, and target audience. The required narrative themes focus on courage, resistance, defense, unity, sacrifice, and martyrdom. These themes must be placed within narrative contexts such as national, religious, historical, and mythological epics, as well as contemporary urban epics and heroes. This includes highlighting the efforts of the devoted popular and law enforcement forces, firefighters, emergency personnel, healthcare workers, and municipal servants.

Regarding the technical aspects of the call, acceptable execution formats include short animations, web series, TV series, and motion comics. Each episode or piece should be between one and three minutes long and must possess the capability for rapid production, ideally within a maximum of three months. While all animation techniques are welcome, preference will be given to those that allow for swift, high-quality production. The target audience for these works is broad, encompassing the general public including children, adolescents, youth, and families.

A detailed directive for the production of web and TV series is available on the Iran National Animation Center's official website. Animators interested in submitting their projects can upload their samples starting on Thursday via the official website: irnaf.ir.
